Jet Screenshot allows the user to upload a captured image to its own image hosting server at my.jetScreenshot.com. As an unregistered user, you can use this server in the demo mode only. In this mode, the server stores images for 24 hours and removes them when this period is over.

To store images for a longer time, the user is required to create an account on my.jetScreenshot.com. The account is FREE.

Jet Screenshot allows the user to create a free account on its own image hosting server my.jetScreenshot.com and upload images without any limitations.

To create an account:

 

1. Right-click the Jet Screenshot icon in the system tray.

 

2. Select Change Settings.

 

3. On the Share Options tab, click Create an Account.

 

This will open the webpage at my.jetScreenshot.com with the registration form. On the form, the user is required to enter the registration data, such as E-Mail, Password, Verification code and click the Register button.

4. Enter your registration data and click Register.

 

You will see the form where you are required to enter your E-Mail and Activation Code, you received to your email address.

5. Enter your E-Mail and Activation code and click Submit.

 

Your account is activated. The final step is to enter your e-mail and password in the Share in Web window in Jet Screenshot.

 

6. Enter your E-Mail and Password into the fields in the Share in Web window.

 

7. Click Save.

 

Now when you select to upload your images to the Web, they will be uploaded to your personal account at my.jetScreenshot.com where they can be stored without any limitations for free. You can sign in to the account at any time using your login data.

 

The Share in Web option can be set up in the Change Settings dialog. The user can set this option as a default share method, enter the e-mail and password of the registered personal account at my.jetScreenshot.com, as well as select the type of link: IM / Chat, Forum, Blog. For example, if you plan to post links to your personal blog, you need to select Blog. Each time you share your images in Web, you'll get a link for posting to blog by default.

To edit Share in Web settings:

 

1. Right-click the Jet Screenshot icon in the system tray.

 

2. Select Change Settings from the popup menu.

 

3. On the Share Options tab, select Share in Web.

 

4. Edit the default settings: Email and Password.

 

5. Select type of link: IM / Chat, Forum, Blog.

 

6. Click Save.
